20-Year Strategic Plan
San Juan Island Fire & Rescue has drafted a 20-Year Strategic Plan that will guide the department’s priorities, investments, and community engagement through 2045. The Plan was shaped around three core values that define SJIF&R and how it serves the community. (See Community Reports, Part 1 and 2 issued July/August 2025.) San Juan County Fire Protection District No. 3 (San Juan Island Fire & Rescue) is pleased to announce the successful completion of its three-year accountability audit by the Washington State Auditor’s Office (SAO), covering the period January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2024.
